Welcome

Hi, my name is Lynn. I’m one of the lucky few who are able to pursue their passion in life on a daily basis. Welcome to my photography page.

I worked as a public school teacher in Alberta for 32 amazing years. I formally retired in 2012, but not yet wanting to give up “teaching” per se, I decided to embrace a different kind of education that centres around life-long learning.

For years, I have tried to instil into my students the value of being able to partake in activities in the present, but also for years to come. Teaching physical education and later photography, I was able to show that passions can become life-long activities for us to develop, craft, and perfect.

Retiring afforded me the time to spend outside in the beautiful Peace Country region located in northern Alberta, learning and creating with my cameras. Outdoor and landscape photography are my favourite subjects. If I can get outside and bring my camera along, I am one happy lady.

With my added experience as an Alberta Education CTS Photography course instructor, I enjoy offering my knowledge and experience to photography beginners and enthusiasts in the small communities around the Peace Country.
